Hello,
Quick update, we will be closing shop for the remainder of the week. We will be reopening on June 1st, we apologize for the delay, we want to reassure the community that no one has been banned, the reason for the closure is due to an SSG cease and desist letter, we will be reopening on a new host and accepting new orders within a weeks time. #HappyDuping
Places that SSG may step in:
1. Block PayPal account (including current balance) with cease and desist. This may hurt as PayPal holds the funds for a brief time so this action can effectively block any transfers if they react quickly each time new account is created.
2. Count number of otto boxes per shard and track suspicious ones and backtrace them to DDO store/ASAH/trade or a dupe. (if there is ASAH/trading tracking).
3. If bitcoin transactions are through unshaded marketplace - it's possible to track receiver with court order. If shaded - it's still possible to block account.
4. Track domain owner (credit card, transfer, IP).
5. Track hosting account owner (as above).
I wonder how many resources they are willing to put to stop such services, zero? Close to zero?
