Amber Temple needed a rework (Not) (Read 5535 times)

	The version on Lamania is less random and has less Flameskulls. But you can no longer grab one password and enter the library past the Lich. You also have to free Patrina, wait through all the endless talking and then complete by killing the vampires. There's a ton of other work been done with sigil's on the floor in front of doors so you know what password they need. Map updates etc. What a waste of time.

	Yep, just what the game needed for player retention, make a quest more annoying. Amber Temple was one of the biggest ass pains in the game until people figured it out. Clearly SSG intended for people to hate that quest, and they are taking the steps to make it so.

I always liked Amber because there were so many different options on how you could complete it, but it always struck me as odd that what should have been the end goal was just another optional. I don't mind the idea of the change, just that it's most likely being initiated as another way to make players burn through their pots quicker.

There are so many things that need to be addressed in DDO. Even though everyone probably has a different list of priorities, the fact doesnt change that they focus on the dumbest shit that serves ZERO purpose. Not that I care now about it, but who asked them to revamp the entire Epic Destinies, or make Archetypes, and that thing they were going to do with conquest and XP in the zone, and making these purple alerts.. They put out the buggiest expansions, updates. The game doesnt have enough people playing it any more to really give new stuff a good test to find bugs.. SSG doesnt listen to the player base. Bank space is a really big issue. You have X amount of space, and every new expansion that comes out with all those new items.. They have to go some where. Maybe on one of my 30 mules. I so wish a better Dungeons and Dragons game would be created. Was hoping that was going to be Hidden Path, but guess it fell apart. Oh well.

	15+ too... most of them date from before TR was around ( at that time it was reroll or create a new character ). And most of htem are empty, because between the power creep, the Great Ghostbanning of Loot and the many Feathered Shenanigans it's pointless to keep loot nowadays.
