I brought the game in 06' being a DnD fan for years.

Had never played an MMo and didnt realise that my 56k dial up was no where near enough to play the game.

Loaded it, logged in, thought it was a bag of shit then shelved it for about 18 months before I tried again, on broadband and loved it.

Poor Stainer.  Has she ever tried?  Tell her I dare her to roll a character!  Well, you can't all be as lucky as my fella.  (we've been together 20 years as of Valentine's day)  He doesn't get waggro, he gets me waking him up saying things like "I'm in blah blah dungeon and I can't find the lever!"  and "get your lazy butt up and play DDO with me!"  But I'm lucky too.  He never gets mad if I wake him up over DDO!

I started with a Pally too.  She's level 17 now.  She'd be higher, but I had to get a better computer before I could play higher level content.  Well, that and my altitis.  But I think Pally is a great build to start folks out on.  It's a big switch from PnP to DDO.
