	As ashamed as I am to admit it, I go to VI every Wednesday for my free slice of pie with any purchase. If I go directly after work (arriving about 5:45pm) the average age of the patrons is 65+. Also, I'm starting to recognize the people who are there every week. The customers, not the wait staff. The wait staff already knows me, and knows what I order every week.

Usually - not always, but usually - the folks in QA are the ones that can't cut the mustard as a programmer. When a programmer drops out, they go to QA since whatever programming skills they did pick up is usually enough to create test cases. That doesn't mean they're shit, it just means they weren't cut out for coding. They won't have the same skill sets, though they will be similar.

Gotta hit that shit with 2 or 3 to make sure you're not just selecting for resistance...a bit too late now. There are new classes of drugs in the works. If we can't stay ahead of the pathogens we'll be reduced to trying to pray infections away like in the bad old days.

	My dad got a MRSA infection in his shoulder a little over a year ago. Took months before they even found something that worked on it, had to ship some cutting edge concoction in from europe. Damn near killed him and permanently destroyed his shoulder.
