Pretty sure Munk will say 'No, use handwraps', but are there any good stick builds left? Was thinking 2 monk, 2 fighter lots of rogue. I still need a fighter life so I figure this would be a fun easy way to squeeze it in. Might do for barb as well.

there are, they revolve around druid and animal forms in early levels.

Stick builds are fine, but no glancing blows on cleaves bums me out too much to do one.
If you mean TR build instead of real build, then it's also fine there. You want to have Chieftan's Spear, Stave of the Seer, Dreamspitter etc though.

Are these as seriously overpowered as they are appearing to be? Everywhere I look it is treehugger hippy wolf this, and treehugger hippy bear that. It is
almost
obnoxious.

May have to farm that Chieftan's Spear. Gave up on Seer though, I have Upgraded Spitter, Shadows, Rahl's.

Chieftan's is awesome but you can certainly do without... I just don't see the point of doing a stick life w/o the fun sticks. Manasdirge bought my last Spear for like 1M pp so I don't have any more, but I think I have a bound Seer that I could ASAH trade.

I was about to do 5monk, 15 rogue QS build. Some people have already mentioned good staffs to use. If need a fighter build maybe go 2or3rogue, 2or3monk and the rest fighter. Henshic, with the rogue abilities of SA and QS, and finally Kensai.

If you are going that deep in Monk, you may as well not do a stick build. Just the way it appears to me on the surface.

12monk/6rogue/2ranger or 12monk/5rog/3drd are quite fun builds with slightly different flavor.

What kind of split would you use for animal form?

Does the wolf form benefit from the weapon crit multiplier/threat enhancements?
If it does, then I'd say the fighter version with "one with the blade" is slightly weaker compared to t5 staff training.

Breeze is fucking awesome with staff mastery, 15-20/3, when upgraded greater telekinetic and greater sirocco, aka what is not killed is lying on the floor or blind
major drawback: its DEX only for hit&dmg
you also want to give it adamantine ritual since it's durability/hardness are rather low
Thief Acro > Henshin for me
for endgame 12 Monk 6 Rogue 2 whatever you think will benefit you the most
ofc LR out of dex then since Sireth > all other sticks

Dreampiercer is actually quite nice until they nerf the Woo-Woo weapons ;/
17-20/x3 with a crazy attack speed and cleaving = multiple Woo-Woo procs <3

I have a 9Drd/9Mnk/2Ftr wolf build I was debating on swapping from handwraps to Qstaffs (an acrobat in my first life) when I got a Sireth. I haven't used LD since I capped my third time, focusing on unlocking Rejuv Cocoon and hitting FotW to level that a bit. I know half the things in LD don't work with handwraps, but I never tried it with animal forms. Anything to worry about?
I haven't used my LR20 heart yet, so I'm at a crossroads where I can either make small tweaks to a fun build or redo the whole thing. My stunning fist DCs are just too far behind, with no viable way to catch them up if I want OC. I was hoping Overwhelming Force from FotW would take the place of Stunning Fist as CC and a way to make enemies helpless but I just unlocked it and after trying a couple times it feels more like Underwhelming Force.
If a Qstaff is viable with the same build then it's just a matter of changing enhancements and taking some qstaffs out of my TR bank. Or, since I'm a Warforged, I can TR into a Bladeforged and use my LR20 for a useful past life feat.

Would these just be for TR builds, or are they viable at endgame?

Does the Acrobat and Henshin Mystic stuff work in animal form? I assumed that it would just be overwritten by the Wolf weapon profile. With 9 Druid levels, it seems pretty obvious that the point would be running in Winter Wolf.

Why would you use sireth and not adamantine knuckles w/ twf line in wolf form.

I'd definitely swap to wraps at level cap.
I did specifically mention early levels

I think these smhucks want a pure stick build to use at cap. Damage wise I would go 13 rogue/6 monk/1 druid.

Addy Knuckles sure (I have a pair of EH, not EE yet) but I don't want to use my LR20 to go TWF when it may be "fixed" at some point. If I have a spare LR heart laying around I might do it though.
I just wanted to know if going stick ended up better than unarmed. I'm sitting at 6[W] right now, so I doubted it, but figured I'd check with people who've spent more time at endgame than me. I've only run 2 quests out of the last two packs so far. Slowly but surely I'm getting there, considering this is probably my main right now.

I thought that they had already fixed the TWF thing. I have the feats on my Wolf druid and don't appear to be receiving offhand attacks anymore. Granted, my Wolf druid is a non-monk version that desperately needs an LR to become less gimped, so I have no idea if the TWF feats still work for handwraps in form.
