Munk, quick question:
If you are gonna LR pally into wiz, why take 2 pally lvls?
Isn't that gonna cost you +3 LR heart instead of +1 LR heart?

I wasn't overly worried since in that SS it was just first bladeforged life to see if it was worth the investment.

When I get back to my final bladeforged life, I'll absolutely be leveling:

level 1 pally
level 2 wiz
level 3-18monk

At this point I've gotta LR before I can take the fighter levels.  (iconics are fucking obnoxious in this regard)

What's the DC for Fearsome Presence?  FotW Injury has a shaken effect too but it's some abysmal DC.

The couple survivability bumps in Shintao aside, how do you feel Void Strike matches up against Empty Hand Mastery?  There isn't a whole lot I like about Henshin tree, but Void Strike alone seems like it'd be worth consideration.

Curious if you've used it/how much mileage you've gotten out of it.  I'm assuming there's no hp limit on it still, and it's practically a 5% chance to autokill something, plus doublestrike/twf.  Even for something you can't erase, a 10d6 strike *sounds* like it shouldn't come up that much short of Empty Hand damage-wise for bosses.  Main difference being free automatic damage versus ki/clicks.

I guess my question is if people have played much with Void Strike since the enhancement pass and how viable a damage dealing option it is.  Even though the tree is devoted to QStaff, I'd think unarmed would get the most use out of it (unless they nerfed it into the floor like Touch of Death as far as only hitting once).

What I don't like about the henshin line is the unpredictability. Shintao provides static bonuses that are significant, henshin offers chance based abilities.

The differences between the trees with 32ap to spend :

Shintao:
21.5% amp
byeshk/cold cold iron/ silver damage
10% off hand strikes
15 hp
15 prr
1d8 fists

Henshin:
20 force spell power
4 % force crit chance
1 ki regen
elemental curses
animal bonuses(4 ki on crit, 8resistances or 20hp)
1d4 fire damage & -1 ki
void strike

in short, offensively, void strike is not worth giving up shintao's DR bypassing, 10% off hand strikes and 1d8 fists.

Also void strike isn't the neat thing in Henshin, it's balance in dawn that's far more tempting.

Testing out the build (versions with 2 wiz levels) while doing some chaining of Epic Reincarnates.  Have a similiar loot layout.  I was noticing that under Inventory window, for primary weapon, I have 6.5[W] dmg, and this does not change regardless whether or not my EE Arkat Cord is equiped.  I was mucking around and testing dmg on Training dummy with and without the belt and I was not seeing a difference.  Note I have no other item with reinforced fists.  Do you noticed this or under your primary in inventory window do you see a change w/wo reinforced fist item equipped (Cord)?

Munkenmo's build is really good and I enjoy them a lot.

However, BF 16mnk/2ftr/2drd is the FotM build atm even though it requires both a LR and an alignment change.

I really considered 2 druid, but in the end  couldnt see what it offered over 2 wiz, with wolf form and reconstruct having no synergy.

What makes you say druid is better

What works in wolf form also works outside the wolf form, for handwraps users.

BF Monks don't have any reason or need to stay in wolf form Smiley

Now you lost me :p Isnt the reason of going into wolf form to get the extra attack speed that the wolf gives and to be able to get better threat range?

Ohhh and the Double Strike Action boost.

Enlighten me master Alex DeLarge..

Hes referring to an exploit. Info on it is public on these boards.  Its a nice damage boost, but given what im willing to spend on ddo now, im not building round it.

The double strike boost shares a counter and cooldown with haste boost. Its useless imo.
