Inferno is the only one of them I actually like.  Vol isn't terrible I suppose.

I cant stand Fleshmaker, and I am not a large fan of GOP.

Pretty much my feelings.  It became an effort in how fast could we finish.  4 minute beholder TR runs and the like.  Far from the best work by the Quest team.  I never TR'd and was excited about the Nec4.  It was a good slayer area one of the only worth XP farming.

Tongue epic rats can be found in Fathom the Depths.

Funny story, before U14, when epics where epics and cap was 20, I joined a pug for just that one, epic, on my cleric. As the room filled with water, I missed the d-door, made my way through the trapped swim, then ran into 5 epic rats. Nasty flesh eating epic rats.

Fun times.

It's one of my favorite packs. If it was for me, I'd like to have every of the necro quests epified. Tormented is a bit of a pain, and Shadow Guard is annoying, too. However, the rest are all just great.

It sounds like its just epic orchard, not epic Necropolis.

That would be an ENORMOUS expansion

I like the abbot puzzles, but I hope they change the raid so that half the group isn't just /sitting in asteroids.  Everyone should be doing something, or else it gets boring.

If they have any sense they will stay far, far away from the Abbot Code of Doom - isn't it currently working?

I don't mind the pack, although epic Ghosts, ugh

I like Orchard, on balance, although I've never been much of a fan of Inferno (having ended up essentially piking too many groups through it, back when I didn't run everything solo) and I haven't been able to stand Fleshmaker's since the upgrade to air ellies that means you get batted across the room regardless of saves.  I used to be able to solo+hire the lever pull at the end, at level, but not since the air elementals got their exposure to gamma radiation and hulked out.

Orchard was amazing. I farmed the shit out of it. Back when it was released though, my main was a caster. Skivers unite!

Before it was a pack for tr grinding, it was great - all of them were. Necro 1-4.

Epic Abbott would suck.
It would either be the same with mobs qtys multiplied by a 100, and boss HP multiplied by a 1000.
Or, if they felt really creative, they might just fill it with 2 hours of mirror puzzles and say job done.
Undecided

Well, we cant have heroic be an exact mirror of epic. No game does that or repeats content at every new level cap. And we really do need fresh new content to go through. But making a few of the other raids and packs epic would go a long way toward fleshing out epics. And it shouldnt be too much time and resources from turbine to do so.

Yeah, thats true. But the main problem imho is that a fresh new raid would actually be better than any kind of epic Abbot. I just don't see how Epic Abbot would be fun, no matter what they do.

Another Deathwyrm like raid without 6 sets of mirror puzzles would be fun IMHO. Two helmed horrors purple bosses? They would fuck everyone's asses. Give them chains like Sully (because thats the only fucking way Monkchers are not going to kite them around forever) and if they don't fuck up the Armor and Paladin changes, they might even be tankable (that is if they make Intimidate work again or they won't be able to hold aggro).

Yeah.  One of the most oft-repeated statements in this very forum on the subject of epic content [1] is: "They should epify old content from back when devs knew how to design quests", or variations on that theme.  If this is the start of a trend, I'll not be unhappy.  3BC was a poor choice (although not as poor as Restless Isles would be), but Orchard, Amrath and Vale all deserve epification.  Giving us epic versions of those packs, interspersed with "new" epic content, would quickly pad out what's available to do at 20+ and quite possibly give some much-overdue polish to the looks of the content at heroic levels at the same time.

I'm only on my 5th epic life (no boxes) and am already getting reeeeeally tired of running the same things.  :/

[1] Leaving aside such comments as "Donuts", "GFY", "DIAF", "gay", "retarded" and so forth.  While valuable, and very definitely 'oft-repeated', I'm going to rule these out as essentially non-substantive contributions to discussions of epic content.

Just had that conversation with Neil actually. We got to talking of Amath for the sole purpose of kiting. Cant really kite around orthons and devils. And if they did, big if, implement the armor changes well enough. It would make for one of the few melee classes able to tank an epic elite True Seeing devil boss. Where displace wouldnt matter and tankiness would.

I expect something like Reaver's Fate to Fall of Truth. No puzzles. Cinnis and Cholthulzz have to be taken down at the same time, the high priest of Vol and Mentau have to be taken down at the same time. All four revive later in the raid. Neverending spawns of flesh golems, fire elementals, vampires, and frostmarrow battleragers.
