Best TWF

I realize that is a loaded question, so to narrow it down: Multi-life heroic character, 6 Epic past lives, all destinies maxed, +5 Tomes all around. Looking for a TWF (I know it sucks right now) to TR into for end game. Have access to most gear through all levels. I have played a 8 Fighter/6 Ranger/6 Monk before...
Thinking..
8 Fighter/6 Ranger/6 Monk
9 Monk/8 Fighter/3 Ranger
12 Fighter/6 Ranger/2 Monk
Maybe even 15 Paladin/3 Ranger/2 Monk with the coming changes.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Next mod either Pally 15/Ranger 3/Monk 2 (if you really need evasion) or Pally 15/Ranger 3/Fighter 2.
Best DPS and survivability, only reason to go different is "flavor."

I didn't even think about not having evasion. Are the new armor/MRR changes comparable to evasion or "just good enough"?

I found playing on lammania easier on my first life pure paladin wearing pre-motu gear than I did on my completionist monk that had every item you'd ever want - pre thunderforged.
As for your question, the best twf builds are still winter wolves with swf&2wf.
So you want to know about an exploit?

I was waiting on that answer
. Unfortunately I hate playing wolves, I know some people like them but they just look awful to me.
Thank you for your insight on the armor changes.

have you considered thf at all? I know it doesnt answer your question, but once u23 comes out I know a lot of people will be running 14pally/6monk buildys with 14pal for the holy weapon buff of oober goodness, and at least 5 monk levels for staff specialization.
(if both of these stack then you'd get +2 crit range and +2 multipliers
)
Wonder if these will stack with pulverizer in drednaught once u23 rolls around

No. Theyre all competence type. They will not stack. Any Staff build without 2 rogue levels for staff specific alacrity is worse off.

Those people would be fools not to instead go 15paladin, 3monk, 2rogue.

That would be the best archer dps.

oh well, was worth a shot :3 kinda lame how all of them are competence bonuses....am surprised the pally spell is also one. kinda makes you question what makes the kensai tree have an advantage over the pally one then. (because it should since fighter is less survivable that pally, perhaps all the extra feats and some damage bonuses?)
meh.
i guess we'll see
wow....means 18-20 threat base with a x5 multiplier for deathnips at theh 14

You cant be a centered monk with any weapon without Kensei.

yes, subset of weapons. But not all. And not the Kopesh, scimitars, greatsword, falchion, axes, bastard sword.
Can also be centered without kensei with short swords too.

If youre set on a 2wf. go pally with 5 ranger levels and abuse the new reduced cooldowns of tempest tier 5.

i have a twf 13 rogue/6ranger/1monk who is fun. I haven't worked on him in about 6 months but he was alright. 100% offhand and 35% permanent non boost doublestrike. he was a little squishy though.

I will probably go pure with Mornhs if I stay with twf.
Too big a fan of uber self healing so want Csw and Zeal and Holy sword.
Capstone is great, 18 core is okay against undead shit, heavy armour is broken strong now.
Take 200 prr and 30-60 DR into any Elite and see what happens. Haha or even block with 94 DR and 70% PRR.
I would go with khops, but Hammers are okay ish both in LD and DC, and some undead stuff have like 37 blunt dr. Good luck with shortswords against that.
Even though Turbine is almost making sure that everybody picks thf.
Best single target dps, my ass. That's so useful when you can't hit shit while moving and EVERYTHING hits you because of your short weapon reach.

I wonder if with these new MRR thingies a pure 20 barb dwarf dual-wielding Mornhs with TYWA and Occult Slayer capstone will be nice. Though lack of shield would hurt a bit; heavy armor feat might look appeasing. Twist in Serenity and Coccoon and you get going with tons of HP, stuns from Mornhs and Anvil of Thunder, Pulverizer crits, very high Spell Resist and some self-healing
Though still probably not the BEST TWF.

Bleh you still would need SF pots, no matter what healing you choose.
( Even without ) Holy Sword + GREAT self healing and saves > either Ravager or Frenzy crits.
Now Pally stances are even more attractive, MORE run speed in stance, haha Turbine.
Heck even the "original occult slayer" guy doesn't even play it anymore.
SF pots chugging is really just for true barb enthusiasts.
All three of them.

logged on to my dwarf hammer guy. his dps is kinda low but his survivability is pretty good.
if i switched out 6 ranger for 6 pally and was bf, he'd be amazingly survivable. plus he'd probably have more dps too.
