	Does everyon else think this spell is a huge waste? I was expecting it to blow up or something. Not go pew pew. /rant off. I think it is better to take a +10 to elec/fire instead.

	It is a good spell in specific content against specific mobs that works better or worse depending on build. As its aoe and bypasses evasion, it always deals damage, so it is one of better spells that you can use in horns for example. It costs to much sp tho

	I think most people simply feel it isn't good for mostly psychological reasons. You won't see big crit numbers because the damage is spread out over multiple elements. Also, the animation is super lame. However, the base damage is extremely high. 40d6 or 80d6 doublestrike is way higher than you can get on any other spell. You can double proc the spell and as Lelouch said earlier it also bypasses evasion.

	On held targets (with sense weakness) my wizard's hellball does between 3000-4000 so it's good enough when energy burst if on timer.

	There used to be a time in which I thought Hellball was just horrible considering it's spell point cost, but since the cards were released and spellpoints conservation is nothing but a joke, just go ahead and take it.

Hellball offers only a single proc chance or two if it double procs. This has been tested and confirmed by more than one reliable source.

	The spell varies between good to amazing depending on how high your casting stat is (whic determines if mobs take full or at least half damage - no evasion for this spell), how high you can get your fire, electric, sonic and acid spell power and crit chance. My dc wiz, nuker fvs, cha based sorc, shiradi sorc and even my bard all use it. It's awesome.

	I tested hellball some more and you are right. It only gives one shradi proc but the thing is, and its also mentioned in the wiki, that the DC of that spell is much higher than it should be. Personaly i only have 40 charisma and am pretty sure i've never seen a mob save.. anyways, shradi or not this spell is the best aoe in the game and works much better than, lets say, meteor swarm..
