I'm going to play one for fun regardless of whether it beats pally out or not. I know that mathematically I need to take both Critical Rage and Death Frenzy. That eats up 65 AP so most of the layout is a no brainer, but it makes the last bits trickier. I'm heavily leaning toward TWF with picks. I could go Dwarf and use Throw Your Weight Around...but that would lock me out of either capstone. (before you yell at me, with +2 critical threat range picks are more DPS than even khopeshes...do the math if you don't believe me) For THF I'd go half orc. Lots of synergy there SWF doesn't have much synergy, but it should be viable if you use a dwarven axe to take advantage of the glancing blow enhancements. Swashbuckling gets an honorable mention simple because the +1 multiplier from rapier/kukri stacks fully with the +2 range from Crit rage...but it requires light armor and 3 level splash (locking out death frenzy) I guess splashing 5 ranger levels for AoE DPS is worth mentioning too...but at that point I might as well be playing a wolf build. So has anyone tested how good the new Frenzied Berserker capstone is? +25 damage most* of the time sounds really good, but are you actually able to keep it up most of the time?

	Yeah I did a little math, and unless the FB capstone is broken or not as good as advertised...Max DPS should be Pure TWF (with picks) Horc with FB capstone and Tier 5 in ravager. Since I have to bend over backwards enhancement-wise to do it, this will probably change if they end up adding DPS to the ravager capstone. I should probably download Lammania now.�

	Will you be offended if i say that barbs currently suck big ass and that you need to put to much effort into survival compared to... Anything else to do dps. And the time you will be forced to sefheal will definitely utterly destroy any dps benefit you get. Also cleaves suck big ass on 2 weapn figh /someone had to say it, sorry i was the first one Occult gives you at least blanket immunity for most new content which is utterly retarded and full of shitty loot anyways. I hoped they would put at least mythic googs in. Sigh

	I totally agree with Lelouch and this is coming for a guy that has 4 barbs... But even if you remove the Cleave part just Imagine how many times you stop swinging just to activate your primary skills. Rage-Frenzy-DeathFrenzy-Adrenaline-Action Boost-Horc Rage-Berzerkers Rage-Name your active tactical skill....and if you throw a Silver Flame Pot in between and you are sitting there for a whole 7 seconds doing nothing just to swing for 4 secs before you spam your skills again... Thats why at least on my TWF Barb that is gimped i chose the easy way and went Occult Slayer for the survivability and the reduction of mid fight clickies since adrenaline and Haste Boost are most of the times the only i need. Even with the new Lamaland changes i am not that optimistic.

Barbs are getting a lot better with the update though, and as I explained, I am going to play one for fun regardless of whether it is competitive in DPS or survivavbility. But, since I am playing it I am going to maximize the DPS potential...that is part of the fun for me. You should be able to understand that. Regarding the actual build criticism, to get to the FB capstone I HAVE to either waste points in the supreme cleave line or the cracking attack line. The only desirable part of each is a small melee power boost; however, the cleave MP is passive and the cracking attack MP is only on hit with 12 seconds duration and 30 second cooldown. The cleave line requires great cleave, but what else am I going to spend those feats on? Side benefit: cleaves are still useful when there are lots of mobs in your face...I'm not going to use them in general though. Regarding survivability: I think you are underestimating the passive healing available. I'm expecting to have 50 melee power and 200 healing amp, so Blood Strength should be ticking for 11.25 healing per hit and 47.25 healing per kill. I Like Pain should be proccing for ~450 temp hp. Plus the passive healing from Divine Crusader. I still expect to self heal...Thats why I have full stacks of sovereign pots, estar ciders, etc. If I still die with all that, I'll just blame the cleric like a true barbarian.� Also, Occult Slayer blows hard. I'd rather steal that shitty 3400 unbuffed hp build from the MB forum than go occult slayer for "immunity" and shit DPS. (Progress Update: Lam is downloaded, characters are transferred. I started putting the build together in the test dojo, but no actual testing so far. BTW the devs seem to have gone all out for the test dojo...is this the new norm? I haven't bothered with Lammania since MotU beta.)

Interesting. I was getting healing on kills, but I guess that might have been from DC. I noticed a lot of the enhancements were different from the spoiler, but yeah so far so good...solo EE capable. After destroying champion Sobrien I zerged through that EE claw only drinking like 4 pots.

You could one shot him with balanced attacks if you have some means of extra damage vs helpless. Having said that, mortal fear and balanced attacks are an integral and valid part of your build so that is very nice. I'd be interested to know how long EE Edger, mentau or the quell guardian in flesh makers/vol� would take to beat down with your build (100% fort red name) as well as the boss in EE temple of vol (no fort red name).

I agree with this, since you can basically go as wolf to sobrien and take him down in 3-4 seconds /happend to me, yea balanced attacks and mortal fear, cant take those 2 into� account for "dps" People just used sobrian to show others their helpless damage with pin manyshot ear smash stunning etc. Its not a dps meter nor test in any way imo

	Fair enough. I used Sobrien because it was a familiar target. Just solo'd EE Vol. EE Elder Seal Keeper = 61 seconds EE Blood of Vol High Priestess = 37 seconds It took time to set up test conditions, but the quest was 24 minutes overall.

	Critical rage is bugged and not doubling with improved critical. That will be a big DPS bump if/when they fix it.

The guy that made the tree build video had: EE Elder Seal Keeper = 57 sec EE Blood of Vol High Priestess = 28 sec Given, the Seal Keeper should have gone down faster (he made a mistake and entered tree mode with out activating healing aura forcing him to leave form and stay out of it for a considerable part of the fight). All and all I'd say your single target red name dps is good.
