according to the wiki many of the bonuses in the stalwart and sacred defender stack (many not all) but my question is, can i have sacred defender and stalwart defender stance active at the same time? if I can i can see a 16 pallie 4 fighter being really interesting to try out. If they stack you would be getting +12 strength +12 const +40% health. Thats more than a barbar rage at 20 and you get it all the time! Seems highly op so makes me skeptical that they would allow you to have both, but thought i would ask anyway.
Not having the capstone would suck but IF they stack ( and that is a big if) it seems that the insane stats the combination of the two would be providing would make it more than worth while.

on a side note: how does the fighter capstone actually work? there is no listed duration on the wiki. Is it 20sec like the most other action boosts and how many do you get per day?

All those shield and ac bonuses stack tho for some ridiculous ac numbers. Rather expensive.

It's pretty much pointless though...unless you use it at the same time as Undying Vanguard for a screenshot.

It gives you a shitload of Max HP, but no actual HP...so all it does is turn half of your red bar black for a few seconds.

Well that's really unfortunate. The more i play this game the more it seems that fighter really has no purpose other than to multiclass. Pally seems better in almost every way. I kind of wanted a fighter life that could use the vanguard tree, and was not the druid, ranger mulit i keep seeing. Pure fighter seems like is not viable at all, especially because it would have no way to sustain.

I don't think monk is that bad, it didn't get nerfed, other classes just got better, I would say that I maybe needs something more interesting to define itself, as it *was* the survivable melee.

pure fighter. . .I think that's always been trash, it had a brief moment when being centered with ESOS's was cool, but that still was not pure class. so yeah, always just a splash, don't really see that changing.

We need to make some monk build in harmor!
