Help with a Battle Cleric build (U25), please. (Read 15028 times)

	Hey guys. I want one of my toons to be a healer/RAID focused. However, I've been trying out some builds and none of them are fun to play anymore. My goal is to have a healer (Cleric) with some decent DPS, so I'm not useless when healing is not required. I'd rather go on melee DPS but spellcasting is fine too. Can someone please help me with that? Thanks in advance.

	2007 called...it wants its FotM back. But seriously, if you really want to do this, make a melee FVS. Make a WF greatsword wielder and get all the Healer's Friend and Healing Amp you can get. Don't worry about putting stat points into either Wis or Cha. Put all your points into Str and Con. Do everything right and get good gear, you'll still wind up with close to 3000 spellpoints.

	A dedicated healer that heals the dedicated tank is a bit out of date. I would do a Tank that keeps anything around him healed. Like the steelshrine build. Or a simple 17cleric/3pala radiant servant. As long as you keep on hitting things with ameliorating strike, your aura is ticking and/or you are on sacred ground even the gimps around you have no chance to die.

	I would actually suggest 12 Cleric 5 Bard 3 Fighter (or 11 cleric 4 fighter). Take Swashbuckling Tier 5, defensive stance and vanguard lines (about 50-55 ap). Then whatever cleric lines you want. Take shield mastery lines in feats.

	i also advocate swash for a melee cleric life. stack dm+kta, exploit weakness, rest of AP into stalwart stance and vanguard. It gets heal spell, true seeing, fom, and dw. divine power for full bab. 11 cleric, 5 bard, 4ftr for the needed feats to get 10 heroic feats for shield mastery x2, imp shield bash, imp crit, pa, clv, grt clv, gswf. Take emp heal as an epic feat. Could also do a centered kensei cleric. 10 cleric, 8 fighter, 2 monk. Although you will have to invest a bit to make cleric+fighter reflex actually save on something for evasion to be useful.

	Make a pally or barb. Same hjealing, twice the hp and triple damage. And you don't have to spend 30 points in stupid useless tree to get aura. Melee cleric ? Haha I'd go caster and just 1 -20 unless you need iconic life. In that case I second 11-12 divine/5-7 bard/1-3 rogue or fighter swash blitzer.

	Dwarf Pure 20 cleric Feats: Gaxe, Quicken, Empower Healing, Maximize, PA, Cleave, Gcleave, Imp Crit Enchan: combo of warpriest and radiant servant. Healing Aura is too good to passs up. Take DC or LD for destiny.

	Go pure bard (or 4 fighter splash) in DC. Bards have always been alright healers Rubbins has some great points too Bards are a great support class and jack of all trades

	Now I'm actually curious. What would be the highest dps build with a cleric icon?

	Guessing mostly for flavor an fun could see doing atleast 3rog-dex'ish(or 2 rog an STR/wise based)/cleric an make staff build gives acess too keeping a TF item for healing and dps or just get a stave of the seer for ur melee fix and still be wise spec'ed

A lot of those swash enhancements that supposedly scale with level give you the full bonus from the get go. Not getting displacement is the only part that hurts.
