Well I wasn't presuming that it wouldn't be flawed, but...I figure that if they can set up ingredients/collectables/gems/etc to deposit directly into bags and they can set up crafting/barter to pull directly from the bank, then they can probably set it up to deposit ingredients/collectables/etc directly to your bank. Theoretically anyway.

Well, yes, if they really want to dig in really really old code.  ( as in code with the the 451EXXYY timestamp  or older [ because that's 30 Sept 2006 ] )

But do they really want to fuck up old code that works more or less as intended ?

The game was designed for everything collected to go into the inventory ( and eventually in bags if there's bags in the inventory with autogather on ) changing that behavior is taking a risk... Intercept the stuff while It's in the Bag and before it reach the bank, and you can dupe.... put it in a bag while it gets copied to the bank, try to destroy it while it gets copied to the banks, ... lots of possibilities.... There's so many loopholes that IMHO it's not worth the risk of a new dupappalooza by trying to prevent it to come back.

Problem is that the people at Turbine do not think so.

But unlike you I do not fear duping to come back, I fear a game breaking, DDO killing fuckup.  Shocked

I, for one, will be VERY afraid of crafting when this goes live.

Nothing positive to be gained, but a whole lot of negative is going to happen.

But the Puppet Council, Sorry I mean Players Council told them it would be a good idea and that is what "most" players want.

Have you tried a lower difficulty, such as the official forums?

Yeah too bad they didn't realize the whole point was making lag a priority for less/no lag, not more damned lag then ever.
