I'm not sure if I'm going to get enough out of the shield tradeoff here. I could always go empty offhand and trade those feats for metas though. Maybe rogue instead of fighter for evasion.
one of the unnice things about shields and swash is that shields don't benefit from Different Tack. So you're stuck with 8 str to shield damage :/ Harper Int-to-damage on the other hand applies to shields.
I am not sure if I'm buying Warlock immediately.. But if I do, I was thinking about a stalwart swashbuckler with minimum investment in bard/fighter, going instead heavy into warlock / enlightened spirit. T5 swashbuckler is probably more DPS, but I will want to try out the warlocky stuff as well.
3d6 light damage per hit is similar to swash's 6d6 sonic on crit. CMW SLA, Displace SLA, Positive Energy Burst. Permanent shield and fear immunity (if they fix it..) MRR, PRR. Some weak aura ticking every 3 seconds, which may or may not be useful. Maybe picking up those eldritch burst cleaves.
3/3/12 as basic split, with 2 levels TBD (perhaps fighter for feat and warlock of lvl5 spell)
