Some of the most badass looking toons I ever saw in DDO were Horcs...
But specifically it was Horc males.
The Horc females were just a little too clunky in looks and especially movement to really have much broad based appeal.
That, and they cheaped out on the dances. I call bullshit on that.
The same can be said of Dwarf females. This is one of the (very) few places where Neverwinter comes out ahead. It's possible make passable looking, even attractive*, Dwarf and Horc females in NW.
There's really no excuse for how ugly the helfs are. They are supposed to be the "handsome" race of D&D, and in DDO they are just a bunch of horse-faced freaks unless you spend an inordinate amount of time on the appearance screen (which I do, but I'm finnicky about how my toons look.) Even then, you just get "less fucking awful" as opposed to "appealing."
Seriously? Was face mapping Johnny Depp and Kate Beckinsale that hard? It's idealized features FFS, a 12 year old should be able to get it right drawing on a damned napkin. With mustard. And a spoon.
TL;DR: I'm not buying Sun Elf anytime soon, need Warlock first.
