If you would like to try an aura build, I'm happy with my.. tanky.. con-based warlock. It's the not best build alive, but it certainly can contribute / even pull wayfinder pugs through Amrath EEs.
The "theme" is to use eldritch burst, spirit blast, and various no-save SLAs from Soul Eater while standing in full aura. In heroics I've used full plate and tower shield without proficiency. At level 22 I switched to some +3 con medium armor (terrorweb) and lvl 22 wall of wood (heal amp, less ASF).
Originally I went with dwarf 20 con > 14 int, 14 cha. I ETRed to 20 > 14 > 12 cha, 12 wis. Kinda attempting to have working Will save with shit gear, that's why I went with GOO pact. I am also using the Resilience stance for +4 saves.
Feats are a bit a mess: Maximize, Empower, Quicken for various SLAs, Extend for Tensers / Displace SLA or even Haste. Resilience, Mental Toughness (kinda filler), Toughness + Epic Toughness, the two epic Warlock feats, also eying Bulwark of Defense.
AP split:
41 AP in Enlightened Spirit (T5+Capstone, full aura, light spellpower, cleaves)
8 AP in Tainted Scholar (2 cores, Utterdark Blast)
31 AP in Soul Eater (5 cores, all the various clickies: Consume, Stricken, Dark Feeding (con), Burning Blood, Steal Life Force)
Functions okay in various destinies; quite sturdy in Divine Crusader (also party healer and extended haster)
Twists: Energy Burst, Primal Scream (more con!), Cocoon.
In my previous life I've used a slightly different feat setup (spent 3 feats for shield mastery in order to have epic shield mastery twistable in case I need it).
In early heroic levels aura sucks until you have enough AP for the various offensive SLAs. IIRC I switched to aura around lvl 8. I managed to solo heroic eBB Chronoscope, both ToEE; Sands raid, Terminal Delirium, ToD. Some of these I've never managed to eBB before.
EDIT: I was the warlock mentioned in this thread on mobos:
