Just about all of it either looks like shit (the armors) or is actually shit (ghostly? Really?).

I assume they lave very low drop rates to compensate overpoweredness.

medium armor with 159 fort, 14 to saves..., 17 doublestrike, 38 sheltering(both prr+mrr).

Giving up toee set bonus, and shadow armor has ghostly. But I feel I would want to slot ghostly somewhere else and wear this. The light armor with quality deadly 2 is also fine for melee.
monks prolly get the robe? maybe. same with heavy armor users, if you dont have or want dr 60 or toee bonus. also makes a good melee docent.

casters docent and armor have quality spell focus mastery +1 and +2, respectively. that is unique. and comes with quality potency 27. if you dont have toee set, then you probably get this.


buckler is okay. It has ghostly, but you give up guardbreaker to wear it.

boots are good. 9 quality 18 insightful prr that stacks with most everything.

helm is good too, quality +25 to universal. Might go on shiradi builds.

the ring has insightful dodge. what other items grant that? probably not necessary for melees to slot an item with 6 insightful dodge and a yellow slot. dont think i would burn a slot only for that. Casters would slot that just for insightful 2 evo DC bonus. 2nd item in game with that(other is rune arm in epic hox)? if they are evasion builds then the dodge is more beneficial, and even if not. not many slots where casters have dodge.

insightful doublestrike 7 neck. your melee prolly wants.

trinket is good if your build doesnt want litany or max hamp.

am i mad at +14 to saves? should i be? even after we were told divine grace being nerfed to balance saves. And now here's +14 to all your shit. this is great balancing work done here, devs.

now all the builds with high saves will slot +14 and have never fails while builds with low saves will probably also not fail(significant amount of content anyway). totally not bad design and not greedy creep to entice sales? glad you covered that class feat, though.

Even to the people who will go head over heels for this new loot, it strikes me as more of a tease than anything else, really. What good is any of the loot when the servers have been down all of today... and are still down now?

But yeah I agree largely that most/all of this stuff isn't worth getting hyped about. I do like the armor idea of the 5% chance to get 150 temp hp when hit, but it's only 5%, and it's only 150... if this were heroic ML 13 or something, that'd be fun to use, but no way would that be worthwhile in epic.

The light armour looks fine for my current tempest...light armours for melee atm are pretty pony unless you have a full TOEE set ( Which I don't) or want to use something other than TOEE weapons which I do

I just realized those armors are not that good for casters, as I initially thought.  Quality potency isn't going to stack with specific element spell power, since potency itself doesn't stack.   So TOEE set may still be superior
