Miss Chances - how are all these calculated?

20% Miss chance from Blur item
35% Miss Chance from Incoproreal(Improved Shroud in Wraith form)
50% miss chance from Displacement

Obviously these don't all stack, so when you are attacked, is each one calculated separately? I feel like nothing should be able to hit me with all of these active.

Displacement overwrites Blur, same bonus (concealment).

Separate rolls for concealment and incorporeal.

Sort of. There are what, 4 types of miss chance (AC, Dodge, Concealment, Incorporeality)? Each of those rolls independently. Due to math, a 25% miss chance from each of those does not equal 100% chance of being missed.

Concealment is canceled out by True Sight. Incorporeality is canceled out by Ghost Touch/Ghostbane/Ghostly/etc. AC is canceled out by Turbine. And Dodge is canceled out by your AC (i.e., your own armor), plus an arbitrary cap in case you found a way around being Turbined.

Blur and Displace are both Concealment; Displace will raise the miss chance to 50%, and when it runs out you'll go back to 20% from Blur (or 10% from Ghostly or Dusk, or 25% from Lesser Displacement).

I'm sure somebody else has better and more in-depth details.

This is just a copy paste that I refer to, might be outdated:

Multiple sources of Concealment do not stack, nor do multiple sources of Incorporeal.

Personal Concealment (can be negated by true seeing):

Item effect: Dusk. 10% concealment.
Item effect: Smoke Screen. 20% concealment.
Item effect: Blurry. 20% concealment.
Monk finishing move: Dance of Clouds: 20% concealment. Works on friendly NPCs.
Spell: Blur. 20% concealment.
Item effect: Lesser Displacement. 25% concealment.
Spell: Shadow Walk. 50% concealment (lost if you interact/fight).
Spell: Displacement. 50% concealment.
Blindness: All opponents are considered to have total (50%) concealment to the blinded character.

Area of Effect Concealment (cannot be negated by true seeing):

Level 1 Spell: Obscuring Mist. 20% concealment.
Level 2 Spell: Fog Cloud. 20% concealment.
Level 3 Spell: Stinking Cloud. 20% concealment.
Level 4 Spell: Solid Fog. 20% concealment.
Level 5 Spell: Cloudkill. 20% concealment.
Level 6 Spell: Acid Fog. 20% concealment (Blocked by Freedom of Movement and Red/Purple named are immune).
Level 8 Spell: Incendiary Cloud. 20% concealment.

Incorporeality:

10% - Feywild Tap (Elf enhancement)
10% - Ghostly (item enchantment)
25% - Ghostly Essence (Shadar-kai enhancement)
25% - Shadow Veil (Ninja Spy 3rd core enhancement)
25% - Shadow Form (Shadowdancer epic destiny)
25% - Shroud of the Wraith (Pale Master 4th core enhancement)
25% - Walk with the Spirits (Primal Avatar epic destiny)
35% - Shroud of the Wraith with Improved Shrouding (Pale Master T5 enhancement)

Looks like taken from the wiki, there've been some minor updates, for example in the Incorporeality section
http://ddowiki.com/page/Incorporeal

Players can gain an Incorporeal miss chance via:

10%
Feywild Tap (Elf enhancement) - 10%
    Ghostly (item enchantment) - 10%

25%
Shadow Veil (Ninja Spy 3rd core enhancement)
    Ghostly Essence (Shadar-kai enhancement)
Shadar-kai past life feat (temporary effect)
    Shadow Form (Shadowdancer epic destiny)
Shroud of the Wraith (Pale Master 4th core enhancement)
Walk with the Spirits (Primal Avatar epic destiny)

35%
Shroud of the Wraith with Improved Shrouding (Pale Master T5 enhancement)

+5% stacking
    Tempest_enhancements#Whirlwind (Ranger enhancement)

If only there were a website that had all of this information with a detailed explanation...

Hmm. I wonder if anyone's mentioned that this info can be found on the wiki yet?

I've found that I get my best results if I can get Miss Chance loaded before playing.

Sometimes I could swear Miss Chance is high, but I've never seen her take a hit.

You forgot the default 5% chance of the enemy missing due to AC, unless that's changed.

The 50% and the 35% both work and are calculated separately. Think of it as half of incoming attacks miss because of displacement, and then 35% of the ones that penetrate displacement miss, and then 5% of the ones that penetrate both miss.

Which means you can work out the effective chance of enemies missing, if you wanted.

.95 AC x .5 displacement x .75 incorp x .75 dodge = 26.71875% chance to be hit = 73.28125 miss chance

And then there are bosses with True Seeing, and Champs which bypass dodge and fortification.

No, let me be Frank.
