I have posted a thread about the known issues on the DDO forums about the bugs in the game v.s. blind new content. This is a link to it, but much of it is below here as well.
https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/478984-fixthebugs1stSo, just read the producer's letter and it was filled some great ideas and plans.
What it didn't address was fixing the existing bugs, and prioritizing the known issues list items; many of which are not only over 3 years old and hurt the play experience for thousands of players but also includes very old bugs that in some cases are being used to ill intent by some players.
Severlin told us all last year and the beginning of this year that they intended to 'bug smash' this year, but still nothing has been done except a attempt the hide the known issues list away from easy review by delinking it from the release notes.
Now before anyone jumps on my back and yells at me and scolds me for daring to question Severlin or the team about something as 'silly' as bug and the known issues allow me to remind you of all the scolding and insults that was thrown at the people concerned about lag last year and the beginning of this year.... will it take a huge bug meltdown similar to the anniversary lag farce to get you to back off?
Hmmm?
So the best way to make our concerns clear and how they relate to so much without insulting the Devs? #fixthebugs1st
I'm posting here on the DDOVault as well as the DDO forums because I'm hoping fed up players will finally spread the word to a level that Turbine will take the issue seriously enough to at least make a effort to get on top of it.
Please spread the word and the hashtag, its a way to covey a postion without insulting or risking a infraction (not sure if you have them here or not).
