Dont go Int to Dmg.. only retards do that. Can get higher Dex than Int, get Int up high too for KtA from harper for bonus dmg based on Int.
You can't take this guy seriously.

So go on and say it. I am a total newb. I know it. I am an old school D&D player but really new to DDO. Can't say I am seeing how to use this. You have 2 different point builds (28 and 32) but when I start a character the stats are predetermined by what I assume is class and race. Ok with that said I am trying to build a self sufficient rogue for soloing. I am intrigued by the repeater build and would like to steer that way before I do anything wrong. At this moment I have stopped at level 3 without spending any points. I can see the direction I need to go for them on your template so that is good. As I progress I plan to acquire tombs for stat increases and kinda need clarification on which to get. I see people saying DEX does nothing for crossbows (but wouldn't it still be nice to have for AC just in case?). And that INT is the way to go for damage bonus? This is where they lose me. How does INT help damage with a crossbow? Or am I reading this wrong? Sorry for all this rambling lmao. Really would appreciate some direction. Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,

You might have to reroll if you picked on of the predetermined paths, I don't think they have updated them yet. You want to pick the "Customize" option and pick the stats and feats as I allocated them. Int is your damage stat (via Mechanic) and synergizes with your trap skills, you want that as high as possible. It will get a big boost if you are able to unlock the Harper tree, as you can add Int to hit and Know the Angles for even more Int to damage. Dex is also important since you need it to qualify for ranged combat feats but you don't need any beyond that number. You need 21 base for Improved Sneak Attack and Combat Archery by level 24. Only starting stats, level up points, and tomes count for this. If you get a dex tome, then you can put that many less level up points into dex (and into int instead).
For spending points in enhancement trees, most are going to go into Mech, and then Assassin. Here's a good breakdown from my other thread:
