I guess it depends on how much is there. I personally organize my bookmarks by favicon with no text and rely on visuals to navigate. Everyone is different

I use my own dashboard because it's fun to make things and then use them, same appeal to homemade anything I think.

Bookmarks and a mouse are faster in many scenarios.  I say that as someone who does use autocomplete frequently and knows the keyboard shortcuts that go along with it (ctrl+k, ctrl+l, etc.).

Let me know when you can use auto-complete to simultaneously open an entire group of websites in their own browser tabs at the same time like you can by middle-clicking a folder of bookmarks.

Autocomplete has it's uses, but it doesn't cover everything, especially older things that are accessed infrequently or things that require typing more than a few words to find.  It scales poorly as the complexity of what you are looking for and opening rises.

Additionally, have fun auto-completing stuff when you clear your browser's cache files.  You do clear your cache files don't you?  If not, well, some really interesting things can be done with those if someone gets access to your PC.
