Cavs and Spurs should both be getting some free agent signings this season. Chris Paul, and Blake, Paul George, Hayward are all good pick ups and would instantly make any team better.

The NBA product isn't very good. It would be way worse with kids entering the league straight out of high school.

If there was a "minor league" (I don't mean the Development League), I could see high schoolers going straight to that but most are definitely not ready for the NBA.

I think lots of players are ready. That 1 year in ncaa does not make them better than a year in the pros. think off all the one and done guys. you think 20 something ncaa games is better for them than a pro season?

If you know you're gonna be a superstar, then it makes sense to get in to the pros as early as you can.

For the rank and file players, however, they always have better life outcomes getting a college degree first.

This applies to most any highly lucrative sport that entails free tuition in the college version.
