Higher skulls only makes sense if you can maintain your pace.  If you are slowing down because of skulls drop the skulls down.  Especially in level 10 and lower content.  The math doesn't work for low level quests. A level 5 quest on 4 skulls is 110 reaper xp.  On 2 skulls it is 80.  On one skull, 65.   You are better off running more quests faster than one slow.

Yeah, there's so much xp now.  I wouldn't claim it to be faster, but I don't run anything in heroic that has an epic part.  You don't have to, other than maybe one or two quests in the middle.  Then when you do the epic stuff with first time/BB, it's just silly xp.  von5's like 650,000 or something.  Not really relevant if you're spamming racial lives, but a footnote.

The group I run with does R2 until level 4, then does R3 for a few and does 7 or so up on 4 and 5.  With a few higher, when appropriate.  Doing about 2 lives a week, it seems.

To run higher than r1 for me not make sense. Exept you are maso.  the 20% xp is worth,so i can buy the 30% pots and profit 50%. Endles spawn of cyclonic blasts can ruin my weekend...

R1 is where I live, I have 30 Racials + some Heroic PLs and Epic PLs to clean up. Going Full Retard skulls for MOAR rXP is pointless for me as well. I'll get there when I get there.

Also, Reaper requires running shit at Quest level, which means by 17 or so I'm down so some seriously shitty quests/chains like Reaver's Refuge, Reign of Madness, and Druid's Deep.

Fuck that shit right in it's ear.

5-6 hours a night was really the x-factor.

I don't have that kind of time these days, which is a problem I want to have. There are a lot of days when I don't log on at all.

So I guess it's back to my flower sniffing gimps and 1 TR a month or so

I am dubious about a 20 hr. TR, but I don't use pots and I'm not VIP so that's likely slowing the process considerably. I also don't zerg much these days.

But I will have to start finding better ways to streamline my TRs...

My current glacial pace means I won't see a single Racial AP before the servers go dark...

So for reaper, it seems like every time the game spawns a mob there is a % chance (based on skulls) of a reaper spawning along with it. So any quest that has tons of spawns (shadow tombs come to mind) is going to have that many more reapers.
