Ya i slotted it into an epic silver slinger just to try it out.. (not that i need it on other toons or anything)
Just did it to see how what kind of stuff worked.

That didnt work.. so i assume it wont work for any other btc items.. i may be wrong.. idk

SSG was probably referring to BTCoE weapons that haven't been equipped yet.

That statement sounded like they were trying to warn people that putting sentience on an an unbound BTCoE item would make it BTA whether it's been equipped or not.  As usual, they were clear as mud.
