	SSG: "Delete all the top players. This'll really help get the game goin'!" I wasn't part of this fiasco. I didn't know about it sooner, else I probably would have been joining in. Temp bans or removal of epic PLs was warranted. Deleting characters of people who've played this game since the release was not.

A) Straw man argument. I never said any of that. B) Subjective. One could argue that it would have been better to remove exploited PLs, give out temp (long) bans, and fixed the game so it wasn't so easy to exploit in the future. Old game = lot's of security issues, but please, this is pathetic. This is SSG's choice, I'll respect that. I'll continue playing on like nothing happened, as nobody I (personally) know or play with was deleted or banned.

I don't know that I've ever participated in any exploit and have no plans to do so in the future, but I completely disagree with this punishment. I suspect that fewer players will be willing to risk character deletion to skip a few PL's or get an extra stack of mats in the future.

	Maybe this was not the right exploit for the hard punishment but it was coming. If SSG took the time to check out your toon, I don't think they stopped at xp. They took a good look at your inventory and bank, too. Maybe even shared bank. And if they found something fishy, I am sure they tipped the scale to deletion. Or they just rolled a dice. Who knows?

There are plenty of people vigorously opposed to the death penalty. This does not mean they intend to commit a crime fitting that punishment in the future. My biggest problem with this whole situation is that it was/is an intentional trap by SSG.

The Orien high-skulls community had ostracized me within 2 hours of coming back to the game after a year-long break. Went to Cannith instead and am teaching newbies, who actually appreciate the fact that I'm around. If you're saying the people who acted better than me were cheaters and they're all banned, then I'm over the moon and I want SSG to make more exploit traps.
