"Best" endgame melee build (Read 2005 times)

	So my main just finished it's Aasimar lives and I'm looking to set it at cap again for a while. I really enjoy cap with all of the raids and such. I don't have complesionist, just haven't grinded out those last 3 lives, and I only play melee. I have a barbarian alt and a swashbuckler alt, so I don't want either of those. Pretty straight forward, I'm looking for the "best" melee dps build for cap right now. Now obviously there could be a lot of debate about best, so that's why it's in quotes.

	tempest. heals, aoe burst dps, 2 forms of aoe cc using flow. minimal rotations, 2 stat build, one of the highest possible 500k dps racers.

	Depends what you mean by best? DPS? Survivability? CC? All around? What do you want to forgo in those categories to get better in the others? It�s all about play style, there is no best melee, never has been in the game.

	Well I'm looking for something to be able to make things helpless then kill them quickly, but still have great dps for boss's. Even if the only helpless is dire charge, as long as it can handle groups of mobs. Other than that dps. I really don't want a glass cannon that gets one shotted on normal raids but mostly dps with just enough cc to handle groups of mobs, and a decent survivability. Not sure how much that helps, I suck at this.

	As Rubbins suggested, ranger tempest offers a lot of what you are looking for. Pure fighter can also get the combat DCs up high enough to do the job. Personally, I really like Bladeforged 3 paladin/5 wizard/12 fighter. Very good PRR for high survivability, plus displacement from wizard.

	I'll never understand the propensity of people to brag about being good at a video game. Its a toy you play with for fun. The only person who should be proud of you is your mother. If you're 3.

	Monk is the brawler/disabler Tempest is AOE-king/off-heals (Druid is a worse version...) Rogue is SA on everything! Barbarian is Barry Big Balls Of these things I am certain
