CC for R5+ (Read 3462 times)

	I need suggestions for a good cc caster with some dps (if possible) to farm some reaper points on epic with a group on R5-8 and solo R3. I usually play melee so I am not sure about how much DC/spell pen is necessary for a reliable end game farm. I am thinking pure Dragonborn Warlock, fey for dancing ball and max CHA. Focus on enchant for mass hold. Necro secundary. Exalted Angel for some self healing. I can consider other options like wiz or whatever.

You're leaving out info that you should include for the people you're hitting up for advice. Leveling heroics, or a cap build?

	For higher reapers, charming is the way to go. If you want to be a CC-bot, Wiz or Sorc is the way to go. Sorc lets you have actual dps if you need. Warlock is fine and all, but I've found it just doesn't hold up if you need to do actual damage.

	If you want to be effective in high Reapers you're going to have to give up soloing----on a caster. The Tempest is a much better solo Reaper character. Dual flow lets you fight just about any trash without getting hit. The only way to get good Reaper XP at cap is to play in groups. You need friends. If you're not toxic and geared in lvl 21 items I'd be happy to be your friend.

	a 100 int gnome arcanotechnician with ravenloft quest gear, slavers ring, nightmothers sceptre, 4 piece otto can CC said content fairly nicely. cannot solo shit.

	So I am running a death cleric and so far I can get to 96 necro DC outside reaper. Anyone has a link to build so I can get some inspiration to get this number higher?
