Severlin himself stated that the level gating won't be harsh or crazy. You'll get a flat majority of your power upfront, with the later points being gained as you level.

I'd imagine it'd be something like 40AP upfront and 40AP gained through levels. Enough that the system feels similar to the current power level, but with more goodies and flexibility by the time you hit cap.

Remember those stupid fucking coins or tokens that were going to power legendary abilities?  From what I’ve been hearing, those are still an active concept...as is mostly everything else that was leaked from the players council last year.

No, SSG is either going have all this so completely bunged up that it’s major net loss in power for everybody, or they’re simply blowing smoke up everybody’s asses to buy time while running out the clock (because I’ve also been hearing grumblings about issues with this year’s upcoming IP renewal).
