Frankly, I don't recommend this, I would have dropped it already if not for an RL friend who wants to give it a go.  I've put 20hours in, and my thoughts are :

Killing trash is TOTAL a waste of time. XP rewards from trash are 1-3, quests are >1000.  Their loot drops aren't worth it either, as the loot from quests / dungeons / treasure maps comes in fast enough that your best bet to level is to ignore combat as much as possible.

Quests are typically completed by riding from A-B, talking to an NPC, then talking to it again at B, to get a turn in at C (etc.)

Controls are weird as fuck.
Systems exist for the sake of existing.
Currency exists for the sake of existing.
Combat is basically cycling through  your 5 skills, saving your ult and dodge for when needed (never in the first 20h)
You are locked into your chosen class / specialist build choice, but can freely respec within it as much as you like (not sure if that stops at a certain level).

Haven't looked into crafting yet, just working through the story with an RL friend. 

If you want to run a linear path, spam G to skip through dialogue and get xp, this is the game for  you.
