So, this ED tree is gonna make the game more interesting, at least fun-wise, but not game-breaking-wise.

Personally I think lower heroics on new characters are harder than Legendary Elite content on a character with good gear and has all destinies farmed.

This is my thought as well.

The mantle is interesting for tanks. That's the one part that stands out.

TBF, it might make rune arms actually good. So, I'll withhold my thoughts on that till I see more.

I suppose we could see a SWF melee build use it along with the T5 if it is actually OP. I don't know how far behind SWF is these days. I know some of the chain shadar kai builds go that route.

It certainly opens up many possibilities.

But in a game with so many existing possibilities, that doesn't really change much. So there's 110 different things to do, instead of just 100. Woop-de-fuckin-do.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against the change. It just isn't enough to get me out of bed.

Sad part of this is that there was a big opportunity to put interesting abilities into the Macrotechnic tree. A no fail tac det at tier 4 which scales well with spell damage would have been very well received.

Artificer has a fair few interesting abilities and spells.
