Has anyone checked the earth elemental in Tangleroot? I can't remember if it was named or not.  You know, the one that people would farm for the sun sword after you kill the shaman in TR 6 pt 2.

I just read that the cat followed up by visiting the dog house later that night, dropping some Willie Pete in on the sleeping dog.  #epochsfamiliarFTW

Yes, three large ellies. No idea if a named rare could spawn there but definitely not always there.

Brimstone is in an Eveningstar challenge, one of the bosses in the fire arena fight.

You, sir, are wrong.

We have had mn_brimstone_archon for a while. We are looking for mn_brimstone_elemental.

Check your MM? I got one from there already, it was Brimestone Archon... possible that there are two possible spawns, only ran it the once for the Archon.

I ran that challenge on several different difficulties trying to get brimstone_earth_elementals to spawn. All I ever got was the named brimstone_archon.

Isn't huge earth elemental from summon monster vii/summon nature ally vii?

Edit: Brimstone earth elemental's hit dice is 1 and no hard/elite versions. Definitely a challenge or maybe explorer area (unlikely).

Edit 2: Lava elemental's DID is high, so likely new content (u14+). CR is 23/27/33 on n/h/e. Other mob definitions near are illithid, draegloth, deepstone elemental, mounted bebelith, elder purple worm etc. So U14 very likely.

Edit 3: Raging ellie's definitions (both earth and fire) are together with Reaver's Refuge mobs. SoS? Explorers?

So I tried to get huge by going into an arena PvP, but I couldn't target the elemental my friend summoned. Maybe using guards you can do it? Are there any mobs that use the actual summon monster 7 spell to summon elementals?

I'm not collecting.. I just remembered that the bosses name in the challenge was Brimstone so I thought I would throw it out there.

The summoners in black anvil summon earthies.

23/27/33 isn't as much of a spread as usual in MOTU. It's usually more like 21/27/45.

At least it is in epic - maybe it's not epic. Could it be in The Riddle? I've never explored all the passages there.

Pre U15 epic mobs are auto-scaled. Some have "epic normal" versions but that's all.

Yeah I meant 'this can't be epic so must be Riddle or Murder if it's u14'. Still think Riddle is worth a look.

Almost none of U14 monsters have epic definitions. All are using n/h/e values scaled up. That elemental might be in epic content too.

I suppose it's worth going through the fire salamanders in underdark to see if it's a special summon..

Oh. Now that is annoying.
Have you looked around the stupid hard to get to bits of Trial By Fury then? The bits that take trick jumping to get to.
Other places I can think to check are Underdark and Demonweb explorers.

Unfortunately the earth elementals in SoS are elder_earth_elementals. I checked.

Good news is that the 4 mephits that Sor'Jek spawns are unique.  Cool

I am pretty sure Rubble is in the depth series. In the one with the Earth Ele boss, there is sometimes a named one in a group just before him. I am pretty sure it is Rubble.

I could be wrong, but that is what I seem to recollect.

Negative. The elementals in the depths are Granite and Earthshaker.

Well, I guess my memory is off. I'll play on Khyber for the next few days and see if I can't help out. I took 6th level on Acoldwind, so I will be running depths and other quests in that level range and maybe I'll find it.

Starting on a new server is fun. No ship buffs, no guild vendors and no money actually makes the game a little more challenging to solo on elite. I got in with a Pilchards TR (Reflections, seems like a pretty cool guy) running Tangleroot last night. That was fun seeing the difference all the goodies make.

Is there a change we could get all the names for the warforged in the monster manual? I seem to be coming about 10 short to meet the 60 hunter mark, it's been bugging me for a few days now and curious if there's even 60 ingame to hunt.
