Didn't find any "restless bat" in small problem, even if there are other restless stuff in there. Will try other diffs because that quest does have monsters that only spawn on higher diffs (named wolves at the end).

Wasn't there a place where bats spawned if you sliipped and dropped down from the rocks above? Maybe I'm wrong, it's been a while.

There were wraith farming LFMs up at least twice yesterday on Sarlona. What's the world coming to?

I could have sworn there were, at the "hidden shrine". But I've been clearing the whole map, jumping down a few times, nothing. Both on heroic norm and heroic elite.
I may try the epics later...

They may be another case of "not spawning monsters" U15 brought, and the hotfix only fixed the major ones : raid bosses and mobs required to advance quests... Or maybe I just suck at looking for them.

You do realize that once you start making headway towards your goal, you'll hit a bug that'll wipe out your kills.

I hope they fix it soon.

Thanks a lot for the answer, looking for them right now.
Didn't find any "restless bat" in small problem, even if there are other restless stuff in there. Will try other diffs because that quest does have monsters that only spawn on higher diffs (named wolves at the end).

Khyber bats, thinking servants of the overlord, will have to check. That quest does have khyber hellhounds, can't remember bats tho.

Plain bats... Don't remember seeing any even in challenges. Maybe lower levels, will check again.

"Bat" exists in the Underdark in the little passage between the spider nest and the Trader's Camp.

I never got to play pokemon, but I was ALL about monster hunting in FFX. Playing through another game now, and I'm like 40 hours in. Spent the last 10 hunting monsters  Embarrassed

I can't check it, but based on their DIDs "restless bat" is likely in "a small problem" somewhere, "khyber bat" is somewhere in U14/U15 as the did is very high and between monsters unfamiliar to me (together with "khyber hellhound" too), "bat" is even higher (added later) so U14/U15 too, it doesn't have hard/elite versions and it's hitdice is set very low so it's most likely in a challenge.

Thank you!  Just knowing the name of the critters is helpful.  I'll poke around and let ya know where I find these elusive little jerks.  Smiley

Khyber hellhound is Servants of the Overlord, that's likely the bat too.

Figured as much, but a guildy ran it and didn't find. Maybe in a corner she didn't look into, but not sure...

We ran through servants of the overlord and hit every nook and cranny we could get into. Khyber bats are not there at all.

Also, restless bats are nowhere to be found in A Small Problem. Gonna check Restless Isles just for shits and giggles.

Wouldn't mind a rust monster list. The site I'm using has the Rust Emperor listed twice.

Guessing the plain bats are the 4 or 5 that hang out in the underdark, on a ramp near the spider hatchery

It's worth keeping in mind that things in the data are not necessarily in the game. They may have been removed at some point or never even used in the first place.

The restless bats have got to be (at least intended for) Small Problem. And Servants is where all the Khyber whatevers are.

Yep, and we are running at every difficulty to make sure they don't spawn.  It is cruel to include monsters in the manual and have them be ones that no longer spawn but are required kills to get your account reward.

The bats are part of nature that they added with update 14 in the underdark.  There are frogs and bats down there which are cr 0.25.  There are also birdies and squirrels in the kings forest.  Smooshing 'em is fun!

ah HA! my guild leader was wondering if that was one of them.

You're the best. The fact that you don't even play and you're still willing to help out is awesome. I really appreciate it. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I remember reading dozens of pages of the Eardweller tracker thread on the main forums back when they were still super rare and we couldn't just farm the secret chest in the dreaming dark.

Its funny that now we will be farming them just to complete a page on the stupid fucking MM and leaving the eardweller to rot (die?) on the ground.

I called a guildie in to pick it up. However, I haven't used mine since the update when WF and pale masters could get diseased.

The second one we got 8 runs later, a different guildie got it. He was on his arti. No one else wanted it  Grin
