I've never played the Mabar event.  Not once in the 3 years or so it's been out.  Never had a monk, nor a pale master and the gear seemed pretty meh outside of that.  Always better stuff to do, imo.  I'm enjoying the game right now and can't think of one bug or feature issue that affects me logging in and having fun leveling my caster or running some epics. 

I could care less if it's broken or not, but I agree with Eladiun.   They really need to stop the bleeding.  They can't afford to keep screwing stuff up.

Now the big question is was the Cove really more broken than Mabar ?

Because we could have lived with a semi broken Cove, as there's so many ways to get things done, even with it semi broken.  ( after all any kobold or pirate will drop stuff to get the Cove to open, and we all know the Union Kobolds are quite happy to forget about torches when it suits them. )

While due to the mechanism in place for Mabar there's no way to have it semi broken.
( you can only get most of the Mabar drops in the Graveyard and nowhere else, if you can't get some you're fucked up as you won't be able to make the item, if you can't get a key you're fucked up as you won't be able to enter the dragon area from Hell. )
