So it's Khopeshes until you get Nightmare? Looks really solid, thanks for posting. I know the Nightmares are essential to the build (woo woo) but the framework looks really good if you don't want to go the twf+ranged route.

I LR20ed an old toon into a kensai monk greataxe thing and it's feeling pretty uninspired... maybe I'll try something like this in a LR. Keeping blitz up is just too difficult half the time, there's either too many doors or there's other competent DPS taking kills.

I'm sorry.  But it's not the Nature boy without druid levels.

A guildie and I were wondering if the upcoming woo gems from mabar will "stack" with the woo inherent in Nightmare. The woo gem is on a 20, and the Nightmare is on crit. If it DID stack, that'd be pretty cool, when you roll a 20.

I guess that's fair.

Special mention should go out to some GS enervation guard boots.

edit. Wow the skill bonuses suck on ASH items.

The more woowoo the better.

Did an EE WGU a few weeks are with 4 guys with dual-woowoo.  Somebody fraps'd it and I'm glad it never made it to YouTube and the inevitable Turbine nerfing machine.

For those of us not in a position to raid, what other weapons apart from Nightmare and Sacrificial Dagger are woo-woo?  Grave Wrappings go without saying...

Still waiting on an epic version of Attack on Stormreach. Love those quests, and an epic Staff of Shadow would be woowoo-tastic.

Yah, so basically "nothing" for a TWF build.  When I get around to a stick build, I'll probably try the woowoo stick while levelling  Cool

Er... "never"?

Took me a minute to figure out why you said that, but I guess my question would have been better phrased "Which weapons - apart from the Sacrificial Dagger, Grave Wrappings and Nightmare-or-anything-else-found-in-raids - have woo-woo properties?"

The answer is: "A stick".   Cool

You can grind out ES challenges and hope that you get a life stealing weapon. Someone had mentioned they had some but that they had stopped working, so who knows wtf is up with those. I made about 15 weapons trying for some before I gave up.

If only the obscenity suffix hadn't been removed, that's another route. Although I only ever pulled one of them, and they were handwraps. Since grave wrappings were better, they were useless to me.

That'd be a plan I could go for, if only the ES challenge loot made some kind of sense  :/  Ditto on Obscenity, but I pulled a light hammer, I think; whatever it was, it wasn't something I could see myself using   Cry

I have a cormyrian falchion with life stealing, it's rad, and 4 or five sets of wraps. I haven't tried to get any in about 7 or 8 months though so I'm not sure if it's changed but I doubt it. Plan for 10-20 exchanges before you get one though.

How would you guys build a watered down first life version of this build using sacrificial daggers? I guess the same split as in the OP would work, but here's a twist: how about plugging in some decent heroic self-healing? or at least, direct access to cocoon at 20.

Daggers gives you light-blades focus which means you can be centered with Balizardes and Celestia as well.

But the daggers are like the Diet-Coke of woowoo.  What makes the Nightmare wonderful isn't just the woowoo . ..  it's also the high base-damage makes the actual DPS not terrible.

And a Heavy-Blades Kensai also can use Khopeshes centered, Drow Khopesh is close enough to Balizarde that when in full DPS mode on red-names you're not that far behind.

I use a pair of woowoo daggers on shitty first life clonk because they kill trash faster than handwraps.  They're nice, but once you get nightmares you should switch.

The analogy is full of win.

Mainhand (84) + 100% Offhand (73) is still behind Cleaver (121) + glancing blows (72), but like Bigjunk said it's "not terrible" for single target DPS.  Not affecting multiple mobs compared to a THF build is offset by the woo woo factor and Nightmare's crit range. I'd welcome a Woo Woo Woo build in any group compared to 95% of the builds out there.
