You are saying a lot of things without having even a slight understanding of them or any logic to back them up.
Again, that's old news.

Smiley Sorry, as I lack a cock, I'm not gonna compare sizes with you. But I have seen your fanboi act before, so old news here too.

Smiley I forfeit. I was using the common Swedish usage of the word, but the word originates from french and even one of the french definitions is unaltered. So I give up. I was wrong.

All you Euros speak like 4 languages. Swedish and Finnish are infinite languages due to compounds being formed on the spot that can be grammatically correct despite being made up just then and there. Norwegian languages also translate poorly to written English because of run on sentences. English lacks verbal inflection and is not a tone language. But makes up for that by having probably the broadest construction of ellipsis. Which makes it easy to learn and troubling to master.

English is very mixed with cross-linguistic features so heavily  to really have any unique qualities. It takes words from every language. Originally a Germanic language it infused Latin, French, and Old Viking Norse. Which is why some European languages are probably easiest to learn for English speakers and vice versa.

Oh for fuck's sake guys!

Why are you trying to use reason, logic and common sense with Thaz a.k.a. the Oxymoron?

You should all know by now that if she picks a fight with one of the Vaulties you need to ignore her completely,
that's the best way to make her go away.
Otherwise, instead of arguing about the topic you'll be arguing about the technicalities of the specifics of the argument with her!

Why would you want her Non-native expertise on English grammar, slang, or common expressions anyways?

Btw, Thaz:

Fresh corpse =/= Oxymoron

Lively corpse = Oxymoron Edited:
Thanks to Limpgimp

Hope that example above is clear enough for you.

Dead corpse is a pleonasm in fact, not an oxymoron.
Lively corpse, hot snow etc would be examples of an oxymoron.

Some yes. Many other ( like Eastern, or Russia for Americans ) are actually the most difficult to learn for English speakers.
Except Korean, Arabic and such.
Far from "like four languages" dude.

One word. Americanos.

I actually went as far as to look up the definition of the English and Swedish definition of fresh vs fräsch.

Turns out you morons use the word differently than we do, and that's why we've been arguing. http://g3.spraakdata.gu.se/saob/show.phtml?filenr=1/75/29.html

In Swedish the word means, new, clean, colorful, unused. In English it means anything unaltered.

In other words, we were right. Thaz had no idea what the word fresh means and then lashes out...

Eeeeeeew. I just went through a horrible, horrible train of thought. And it revolved around those two words and Thaz' imaginary understanding of words.

I get the feeling that you're trying to take the credit for others' work.

In my defence, the most commin use I see of the word fresh over here is on air fresheners and other things that are meant to make your home smell nice.
