Wait what? You've never been to the Land of the Free?! It's like 400 bucks from gay Paris.
I go back and forth about hating JFK. La Guardia's tiny, so it's easy to get around, but if there's traffic it's a total shitshow. Don't get me started on EWR.
Land of the Free for me is where CNP and OBY are...
I know it's cheap to get a flight in cattle class to US... but I'm not interested in spending 5 hours+ in a cramped seat. So I stick to European destinations or to weird ones.
( like CNP and OBY ).
Another nice small airport it's fun to visit is RNB. You get to watch Grippens flying while you wait for your plane.
( and you can't get lost there : 1 single terminal, 1 single gate )
KEF is nice to visit, AEY is even nicer. RKV straight in the city.
I can't tell much of CPH... I was always in transit there ( either from plane to plane or to plane to ship )
ORY is nice IMHO ( and near home ) while CDG is a Pain in the ass to navigate if you don't know how it's set up... and it takes ages to go from T1 to T2 to T3 to the TGV/RER stations...
LYS is relatively straightforward... except for Car Rental that are far away.
TLS is really nice, CFE is mostly dead ( for the oldest French airport with a concrete landing strip it's a shame... it was also an abort location for the first few Shuttle lanch due to the strip lenght and orientation ).
I have no memories of BOD, and NCE is just like landing on an aircraft carrier IMHO.
I know I landed at MAN and TUN long ago, but I don't remember anything about them.
to complete ARN and GOT are just Swedish ( they don't care if there's snow on the tarmac )... and FRA is a maze where you can get lost while CGN and DUS are easier...
( ok DUS at 10PM is just halfway shut down and people shows you the way you need to go to catch the plane )
