Boldrin, back in the day on reidra before the merge, rollinloaded (the first Wf wizard - we all thought he was crazy for making that build) was the best soloist to me. Dims was good too. Didn't pay any mind to peeps until I switched over to thelanis. Teth came to mind then as well as Made. Both were exceptional. Teth moved to khyber and Made just stopped playing. There are really a ton of players I know on thelanis and khyber; each had there unique elitness. Couldn't just name 1

Ok, was just following your sarcasm, seriously now, my vote in Cannith goes to Steelrender.

He was in the top before he left the game.  He's back now.  Good dude, know him well.

Cannith- not in any particular order.  Kmn, steelrender, thirt, lotusfly(most of the time) ---- back in the day pre-MOTU.

Now.  Well....darig, godly, (depends on which toon I'm on) I'd say me, more from hella, Zerg, goth, can't think of more ATM.  I'd have to check my FL but sick and not logging on.

I have more pre-MOTU but once again I feel like shit.

It is very hard to justify a vote about that, most people just put a friend of them or a person who they play a lot with. There is not a lot of situation is DDO that you can say: "omg, that was fucking badass".

Last time I saw that was years ago when I was pugging Xorian Cipher and a first life ranger finished the boss using that black wierd ball that cast random stuff on you to heal himself, while the rest of the party was dead (heh heroic elite was actually woth something at that time). I just thought "jeez that was epic".

That said there are a few players that when they join a party I can except the run to go smoother and faster, and also that it will probably never wipe.

I used to play with Boldrin a lot and we've seen Dimz do some pretty amazing things back in the 2008-2009 timeframe.

I guess after that, right around the time Amrath came out, Tukaw was the best player. He and I duoed an Elite Sins of Attrition once and, while I held my own, he lead the kill count 3 or 4 to 1. He was awesome.

Huh. Well, I guess I'll have to disagree with your assessment. Tukaw was very good, much better than Dimz, but I'd seen better. Pyce and Fatty/Hefty would rank above both of them, I'd say. Smithers as well, so long as he wasn't too far in the bag. All of them outpaced by Thistles, though we're going way back for that.

Of course, it's a completely different game now that I haven't played, so I'm certainly no judge of who is the best. I was just surprised to see you name Dimz. It's clear our perceptions are shaped by our experiences, as my all-ER list shows.

What about Aranticus?  He always seemed a really good player to me, but then, I didn't start playing until mid-2008 and wasn't end game raiding until mid 2009, so I missed most of the early players.

Aranticus won DDO with his "raiding the vault with baby on my arm" picture anyway.

Shit, Strak, Pyce and I tried to duo an Elite Hound of Xoriat (this was before Turbine screwed around with it and made it soloable for a few months) several times and, I gotta say, it was he who kept screwing it up, not me. I am definitely not the best DDO player and from what I saw of Pyce that day and from other times as well, he wasn't that great. Smithers, however, was definitely a really good player.

Was this before the server merge? I never knew him.
