The players weren't sufficiently appreciative of the genius of Bigby's Pointing Hands, so the new expansion will feature Bigby's Flipping Bird - you can apply it to any character you can see, or any character in the LFM or Who panel (even if you aren't accepted into their group) to give them 1 hour of rubber banding and the "Would you like to add Astral Shards" dialogue box every time you take damage that drops you below 1/2 hit points. This effect pauses when in a public area and when logged out.

And if players still aren't appreciative, they are working on a version where the timer only counts down during dungeon alert green or higher.

I don't expect something as large as MOTU, that's a wish that's never gonna happen. I'm fully aware they probably can't pull off anything that could be called an expansion without God himself intervening.

It'll be 5 rehashed quests (instead of 3), a raid that becomes playable only one week before they shut the servers down, a bunch of cosmetics lifted from The Legend of Zelda "Ocarina in Time", NPC dialogue from Trump Campaign speech writers and a mutli-pack of colored duct tape so we can LARP with them from home.

I've not bothered actually playing g D3 so not sure how they do seasons but over on path of exile its a rather brilliant mechanic that fosters an active pve competition and player economy. The hardcore seasons especially appeal to those who love to play xp per minute while pushing their ability to tackle content as quickly as possible to gain recognition and win cool in game prizes. Usually unique skinned versions of standard named items.

Personally I recommend POE to any arpg fan as worth trying out. I dropped about 40$ on it over six months of active play a year or so back and while I've not had the itch again yet I keep tabs on it like I do DDO. Its grown in content classes personal bases a NPC mentor system complete with quests for them all as part of its ftp modelmodel
Nothing g at all essential to playing or enjoying g the game is locked behind the pay in option s which are almost all cosmetic related.

I'd posit that one could be employed yet still a loser such as the untouchable caste in india while one inherently wealthy could be an unemployed winner. But I don't think you view is accurate based on the above but I'm guessing your using g sarcasm and forgetting to specify that as is currently a pop culture norm as seen in the show Archer.

So in the future please remember to clearly state sarcasm at the end of sarcastic posts.
