One thing to note is. There is no first life in the path. The first life is what you already are, because a brand brand new player who has no characters isn't going to start completely fresh without already having made a character.
There's this thing called LR

First toons suck and are often abandoned (if you're still using your first toon, congrats, you're special. Mine's abandoned on Orien). This is more of an exercise than anything, mostly because someone asked.

A second point to consider is, what does a class or life teach. That's pretty important as it makes each life easier down the line
Very valid point actually, but technically this isn't aimed at a complete noob because the best advice for them would be - you're first toon sucks, start over

About the only real changes I'd make though would be suggesting they start with maybe a fighter because melee is a bit easier to ease you into the game, or a paladin to get a taste of the complications to come. If you've got a complete noob friendly list, by all means post it.

Third is, o you focus on reaper or not. The class order changes a lot.
How so? If my list were for a complete noob (like you thought), your suggestion is kind of moot because new players really, really, really don't belong in reaper. They sucked ass and slowed everything down in old epics, the best thing they have to offer reaper is to pike and stay out of everyone's way.

Fourth is so you plan to play epics?
All the way through each life? No, this is for heroic TRing only (thus the whole TR references throughout).

Fifth is the +1 evo from sorc makes divines easier because BB.
I honestly wasn't sure if that would make a difference or not. I'm not a big fan of spell slingers actually.
