Expansions or quests?  I know it's semantics but I'd say the last thing that even came close to an expansion was the updated Orchard, maybe Thunderholme.  Everything since has pretty much just been small packs of a handful of quests.

I mean I guess they can say "we don't want to 'publish' your game anymore" but then SSG will just find another company to contract with willing to do it. Or do it themselves. But surely not shitcan something they're already developing.

They can do a whole lot more than that.  Just look at Turbine's prior lawsuits with a publisher.  That publisher just didn't publish, and had a contract so Turbine couldn't go elsewhere.  Turbine had to suck it up and do it themselves and then go to the courts, and it was a mess.  A costly mess, I'm sure.

You think that a fledgling company running on a shoestring has the legal team needed to ensure that this can't happen again?
