	Apparently +8 tomes are going to be a thing. Ability Stat Tomes have new Minimum Levels in which they apply: Level 1: Up to +2 Level 3: +3 Level 7: +4 Level 11: +5 Level 15: +6 Level 19: +7 Level 22: +8 (the +7 to +8 Upgrade Tome is currently available as a reward in the new Ravenloft raids.) NOTE: The benefit is not applied until a character first logs into the game world, so the stat benefit is not available during initial character creation or reincarnation, but will apply when the character first logs into the world.

	Of course.� Even buying the points during double points sales at the best value and the tomes on sale it would cost around $26 for a supreme tome for every character. The whales have already bought all their tomes, so time to change the rules so we can go another round of milking.

	As far as power creep goes, like another +1 even matters at endgame when you can have 100+ in a main stat. OTOH, lowering the ML floor makes assigning points for prereqs completely different (for the better.) But you have to reincarnate to optimize. The builders rejoice and shake their fists at the same time.

	Ive ranted on this before.. I play way way too fucking much.. i played on capped toons for years. And Ive never seen a +7 drop for anyone ever.. And ive only seen +6s drop a small handful of times. Even while doing the last 36 racial lives ive only had like 4 tomes drop. Think they were all +2s or +3s. I used to get tomes to drop a few times a life.. same with major pots.. used to get like 10 or more a life.. now... A tome every 10 lives or so and a major pot every 3 lives or so. But the main point im getting at is.. Ill never get a 7 or 8. I was doing ee slavers and only gotten a +5.. so... Tomes are pretty much a paid for item only.. so ill have to buy +7s and 8s? Or spend hella on straight +8s? That shit is like $50 a character or more.. greedy as fuck..

	If you follow the progression, you can do +8 at 22, +9 at 25, +10 at 28 down the road.

	I�d be more excited about +8/+9/+10 tomes if tomes actually dropped at level and on a regular basis. But this is the red headed step child of Turbine, so the only way people will see these things is in the DDO store.

	Yeah, better for feats that require base stat level, and more skill points for any toon that has an Int tome or supreme tome.

	The drop rate is probably set high right now and as soon someone posts a screenshot on the Tardforums, they will soft switch nerf the drop rate to 0. It seems like they so have a soft switch in place given how the rate is nerfed without downtime.
