I'm thinking FvS, Wiz, Sor.
3x Morninglord (Cleric, naturally if you dont have cleric yet.. otherwise.. w/e) = +9 Universal Spellpower, +30 Light/Alignment (for Stricken/Consume.. nom nom nom), +3 Tentacle DC
3x FvS = +3 Spell Penetration, 60 Spell Points -> Honestly, your gear alone should cover more than enough SP, no reason to go out of your way for the past lives for it..
3x Wiz = +6 Spell penetration, +6 Wand dc -> Again, see FvS on SP.
3x Sorc = +3 Evocation, +60 Spell Points -> surprisingly not as useful on a Lock as youd think, only for webs, which is what Tentacle is for.. (Locks inherently have 0 Evocation spells, Therefore making Sorc past life useless on em, save for the Spell Points.. is 3 more lives worth it?

)
Of the 3 you listed, i honestly wouldnt go for any of them. I would rather pick up the x3 cleric, and since youre doing cleric, might as well knock out morninglord at the same time, past lives. They benefit the Lock hella more than the others do.. IMO

I'd also like to create a generic spell caster gear set (and by create I mean slightly modify Rubbinns caster set). Is it at all do-able to organize it where there's only one piece that can be specifically designed to be switched out for each class? Like the googles are one of the slavers pieces?
Sadly, it will require at least 3 pieces to be swapped, spell lore wise - Trinket, Gloves, Weapons (if using Rubbins layout, as i re-iterated int he Caster Tr Train thread for Arganthonius
