I quit after Soul Splitter.

I was soloing R10 and realized that I had mastered the game and it's systems. The content release cycle was too slow and since Deathwyrm the lag has made the game less and less playable.

When one of us play a single player RPG we know that the game ends. DDO has been stretching too little butter over too much bread for a long time.

We are all like Bilbo missing the days when the game was compelling.

Most of the people here are beyond mastery.

DDO is living on ya'lls sunken cost fallacy.

Good post! That's the kind of insight I was looking for, very interesting. Makes me wonder how many times I was close to the same kind of realization but ended up distracting myself with another build or something else to avoid it unconsciously.

Just for the record, I bought ten stones from Dragonborn a few days back. Fair and civil trade which went smoothly

Do you make your coffee twice using the same grounds?

Have you tried out something like Hades?

There's tons of amazing stuff released.

I like it better than solitaire or chess, so there's that. Can you believe people who just push those same pieces across the same boards over and over again? Crazy.

Actually there are people that do this.

I'll never understand the propensity of people to brag about being good at a video game. Its a toy you play with for fun. The only person who should be proud of you is your mother. If you're 3.

I would rather watch Hikaro Nakamura stream chess than play DDO really. Great dude

That said there's a reason Bobby Fisher started talking mad s*** about chest towards the end of his life. He thought it was a dead game with no originality inspiration or fun.

I mean chess is competitive so it's a big difference from DD0.  Video is about competing for how many boxes you bought or duped. It is more fun to compete to cheat in ddo for a bunch of vaulties then it is probably to play the game anymore.

"How can I break this?"

I mean chess is repetitive so it's pretty similar DDO.

It's better the second time. Less ass flavor distracting me from the cream and sugar.
