Sure charge what they like for cosmetics but storage? that just disincentivises them to fix it properly.

I've heard some suspicions of a possible xp Nerf due to the 1 - 20 6hr run. Maybe our whales will buy enough cosmetics to offset the pot sales drop.

Cosmetics need to be sold separately. They would sell many many more that way.

IF they had a proper cosmetics system(EG "cosmetics cabinet" with infinite space) THEN they could sell individual cosmetics one at a time and make $$$$$$$.

Instead they do this shit.

Cuz SSG is dumb.

People have been dong 1-20 6 hour runs for YEARS. They're not gonna nerf that at this point.

Is this using stones or am I just really slow?

I can maybe do over one level an hour in epics if I'm with a good group but heroic 1-20 always takes me longer than iconic 15-30.

People were doing 1day TRs(1-20 in 12ish hours) before Reaper or XP stones, using nothing but sov II pots and dedicated groups. First time R1Xp + banked DD stones is easily cut that in half. I think they also removed the cap on banked XP.

A lot of us have spoken about not giving SSG more of our money.
So I think the peatron idea is a great win-win.  It keeps the lights on for SSG and we keep playing.  I admit I was very surprised at how well it seemed to work.  I really didn't think men of a certain age would go for dropping the equivalent of $100 for riding a virtual cat.
I'm a bit older than my buddy and never really watched He-man, but he mentioned wanting that mount since the 80's.
So I just changed my reference and considered that if SSG offered a Fred-Flintstone Car as a mount-- OMG-- count me in!  $100 to see my feet running underneath is totally worth it!! Hell, I would just quit drinking beer for a week and spend hours just laughing at myself driving up that dinosaur in Dread Isle Wilderness.
So yeah, peatron on.  Hell, make it FansOnly pack and have ships your guild ship crew be grinding each other naked in the cargo hold.  But while you're at it.. have someone acknowledge the issues and let your players know your trying to solve them.

$100 is the price for Diablo 4 Ultimate edition. You get to play a lag-free, ultra graphics, ARPG with a cool story line, legion events and world bosses. Not to mention quaterly seasons and updates to the game.

I'd buy a rust monster mount for $30. That's about it though.

Compare DDO's supporter pack pricing to POE (which it is based on) and there's no contest.
POE gives you points equivalent to the purchase. The supporter pack cosmetics are just on top.

They are basically selling you cosmetics along with the points bundles - which is a fantastic idea. If I liked cosmetics this would really open my wallet.

SSG is trying to sell you ball-shrivelingly over-priced storage with some cosmetics on top. Which is a retarded idea.

This is, what, the 4th time they've reworked it? Why can't they give up like they have with rangen loot and plat?

I don't care about cosmetics or mounts in any way.

I still bought the high level one for the storage because I'm irresponsible with money.

I imagine that's why most people bought it.

Funny I have a healthy amount of disposable income but I still consider the value as if I was still a poor student, hence why SSG has not managed to tempt me with many of their offers.

In my defense I had a bunch of left over DDO points. Probably because I had just finished hardcore league so I went ahead and bought it for the storage and glamour aura.

Def think it was super overpriced. I feel like someone should reach out to EG7 and point out how much they lose out in sales just on the greed of SSG's marketing team targeting whales instead of casuals by halving the prices.

I strongly considered it seeing as I had 20k points handy. But then I was like... fuck it. No. Its not enough storage.

TBH, I assume that's why the prices are so high anymore. They have a general knowledge of the average amount of TP players have. I'd assume most vets have a good 5k+ at any given time.
