Heroic elite is | | that much harder than before.  Hardest thing to deal with at the moment is losing my gear bonuses when I change weapons.  And we suck.

I don't think it's required that Dex/Wis Light Monks suck.  It's just the standard expectation since so many do.

I believe that I already did mention that Light Monks have an advantage when they actually land a successful Jade Strike against a boss, but that is balanced by the debuffs that Dark Monks can do to those same bosses.  The debuffs are different from each other, but I'd say that they're similar in value.

I did enjoy Banishing trash evil outsiders and elementals, but that one extra kill per 15 seconds that you get is being lost by the fact that you suck in general.

...and again, how do I know that you suck in general?  Because you are in this thread complaining about Epic Elites.


Light Monks have a lot of great things to offer.  Dark Monks have a lot of great things to offer.  Shitty Light Monks that can "contribute" just fine on Epic Normal are seriously disappointing when quests actually start to get interesting. 

Well build Light Monks do just fine in Epic Elite.  Your Light Monk doesn't.

This is a highly amusing thread, because I have a dex based halfling  light monk and the only reason I have such is its useful for TOD to grab the rings I want. Once I did that I was going to TR into something more useful but now we have LR I'm considering more options. Sadly, I can't pull decent TOD monk rings worth toffee, took the occult thingamy last time because I was fed up with giving encrusteds away Smiley
