This is good to know, Thanks.  I laughed my ass off as I dumped my entire mana bar on the piddly little drow bastard in eBOB on day 1.  33 Spell Pen = 0 success.  That was a good thing as it made the feat/Destiny decisions easier.  So if 40 feel s like 50/50, and can be had with one wizzy PL, and full feat/enhancement commitment to spell pen by lvl 22, then lvl 25 + 2 wizzy PLs should be getting pretty close to me saying thanks but no thanks to 3x grindy boring fvs TRs.   That said, I think i'd rather do a fvs TR than blow 6AP on +1 spell pen.  I'll shut up now, point is: lots of options. 

(also, I was trying to reconcile your 50/50 EE drow comment with Carpone's "can't touch" comment, but then I realized that "slay living/destruction" implied fvs.  Guessing he didn't take magister, and maybe not the +4 feat either.  Ying?)

I ran Shan to Kor and WW elite last night and died in what I remember as being "Safe" spots. I am TRing my arty and I stand just outside of where the trap hit box was to search and DING. You can see where my stone is outside the trap.

In Shan to Kor, the one spike trap that when you disable them it only stops half the spikes and you have to run through where the disabled spikes are, only one person with evasion made it through without dying.
