A Response to the Reconstruct Spell Nerf

So Eladrin finally responds to Lammania's reduction in hp restoration after a reconstuct.

Eladrin's response

Quote:
I've done some investigation into this issue.

Several experimental spell power coefficient changes ended up in the Update 16 Lamannia build - these are not intended to go live. I've reverted them all.

So, is the interpretation of this statement: "good thing you guys caught this, otherwise it would have went live and you'd have been stuck with it until we felt like backing it out - if ever"?

And I understand that, but how many times has the experiment been forgotten about and been put into production?

"Experiments" are fine if you announce them and document their existence in a publicly facing manner.

they will probably congratulate themselves on how long they "kept it going" never able to see that it could have easily managed to keep itself going for far longer if they had just meddled far less drastically and with some semblance of an actual gameplan.

Now why the fuck would they announce nerfs. This is Turbine we're talkin about here.

They do "Experimnts" every fucking update.

So that means beta is on the live servers.

I just got that impression after you spent 13 pages calling out eladiun for being an interwebs bully when anyone who's been posting on here already knew that.  I mean, he's proud of it and hardly tries to hide that at all.

Look closely at the updates...

Nerfs are never included in a Lamannia build. Never.

The appear straight on live.

As for Beta, since we European Refugees moved to the US we felt like being on a Beta server.

Europe had stability ( no crashes ), was mostly bug free, quests were very rarely closed, GMs actually did help you.

You're late, Bill Z Bubb. Eladrin had already made a post confirming Reconstruct will not be "nerfed". The one you quoted was just about what happened that it got changed on Lamma.

I only have one thing to say in regards to this.

If I was a charity, and Turbine did a charity drive, I would refuse all the money they collected out of fear of being involved with the shit they pop out.
