Scroll to the bottom of the DDO section of the forums. You will see over 137 pages. Tell me again how stuff is getting deleted?

The search function worked for me.
Pretty sure neither of you actually read my post.
Yes. There are hundreds of pages. Yes. There is a search function and it works insofar as when you type in a quarry you do find results.
Here's what I found after many weeks of searching: someone starts a thread. They include instructions. Other people respond. The original post, the one with the instructions, gets deleted. The responses remain and grow because the people having the conversation all read the original post.
Then, someone new to the forum comes along, searches, finds the conversation, but cannot read the original post. As it turns out, several dozen pages of people talking cryptically about a process isn't terribly helpful when the actual process is missing.
Then, new people join the forum, and they ask. They get told the same thing: the information is there, search for it. This was why I lurked for a long time before actually posting: I was searching.
So, like I said, I get it if you don't want to share. That's fine, its ultimately not that important. Just know that telling people "use the search function" is actually completely useless if key bits of information are being surgically removed.
I'll just let myself out now.
