You are probably right though.

Combat Archery can be fit for any of the epic feat slots technically.  Not sure what to give up for it though.

I didn't know that on double rainbow.  Hmm opens up two twists then.  Probably based on your roll in a party which ones to take.

The build start with Pally so thats not an issue.  Im liking the advice though.

yeah, i'm looking into harper int options since dex is too much wasted AP for my liking and there simply isn't room to fit in weapon focus ranged and bow strength.

14paladin looks a lot stronger as a tosser than a monkcher.

also, of note :  it says missile weapons, i'm not certain that includes bows.

Did some testing during round 2.  I like the elf 14/6 dex build.  I would not do deflect arrows.  You can do precision as a monk feat and the instead of precision as a standard feat, you can take completionist.  Then, combat archery for completionist.

The benefit to elf is grace.  You can max dex to around 50 standing (with mountain stance on) and not have to worry about taking divine might.  I reinvested into ninja spy and took No Mercy and side benefit of better sneaking which is nice in solo.  Was hitting pretty hard with Fury Shots after that.

Negative is that you cannot go robot and are subject to the dispell/neg level spammerfeast that quells seem to be coded to do.

Negative to robot is that you cannot get AA going 14/6.  Old moncher robot build seems to fit nicer, but you lose holy sword.

There doesn't seem to be a perfect build now, but I think using something besides str is going to be the way to go.  Dex seems to me the best way as you also get better AC although int is good for skills.

With pin, you get all the added damage from sense weakness and no mercy on a helpless target.  Enlightenment T3 from grandmaster of flowers grants +1 ki regen.

Pin works.  Ottos arrow does not.  Nerve Venom I cannot remember off the top of my head since I never use Shiradi anymore.  I think blinded works for sneak attacks, but not helpless.

No Mercy AND sense weakness.  I think they are not mutually exclusive as my damage on helpless jumps when I added No Mercy back into the mix.
