Having a bastard of a time keeping either of the twins from trying to run to the other one with hirelings.

First, ditch the hire.
I would clear trash to second brother, fight first one at the "door", save boosts, Zeal, Unbridled, whatever for the second one.
I can do up to EH on Pally.
EE is of course bugged but you probably would want some company for end fight anyway.

Don't know if it has changed any since it was made epic but, on heroic you used to be able to clear trash on the way down to second and then go back to the first one and fight him.
The second one would then keep trying to make his way up to you (at the first brother) and eventually succeed and not reset back to his spot. You could then just fight both in that first room and easily prep and kill when needed.

I can confirm that the 2nd brother still makes his way up to the 1st one if you wait a bit, on epic. Well, I only tested it on eN, will assume it works the same on the other diffs. I.e. just stay in the 1st room, prep the 1st brother, wait for the 2nd to come up to the 1st room.

Strange.
While I was prepping the second one, the first one came to me.

Oh how much sr?
No idea if his ray is amplified by spells n such, or is it coded bad to be a spellpen check with 1 sr making it fail?
Also has anyone tried globe of invulnerability yet?
You could basically stay still and range him from globe. Should be easy enought as monkcher smthn

How high does it have to be? Ring of thelis (SR22) ? or scroll? Will it be debuffed?
*edit - scrolled up and got my answer.

Why thank you, although I needed no affirmation of that fact from anyone, and certainly not from some sad, fat fuck who is a DDO fanboi.
Having said that, I am a Time Warner stockholder, and every bit of profit that can be wrung out of Turbine has a chance of increasing my dividend check. As such, I would encourage you to continue spending money on DDO as you attempt to offset the wretched reality that is your life.
Just for your information, not all companies optimize their business operations to maximize current profits. Amazon, for example, is much more interested in increasing its market share at the expense of current profits.
You would know these kinds of things if you were anyone who mattered, but clearly you aren't.
Now, be a good little fanboi and toddle off to the Turbine forums where you can get your daily dose of Cordo ass kissing done.

An SR 22 is just as good as an SR 36 in high level content. In either case, a roll of 1 is a fail. Any other roll succeds.
Pretty sure an SR 44 is about as good as a 36 and, by extension, a 22.

Caster Level checks do not automatically succeed on a 20, nor automatically fail on a 1.
(Therefore, low SR is pointless)

I've seen that rule for SKILL checks but never Caster Level checks. Please cite your official rule and link it.
I'm not saying you're wrong, I just want to see an official rule that backs you up.

I personally tested this with a SR 15 item (admittedly this was a long time ago)...0 spells blocked.
Ever notice what happens when you cast holy aura on nongood party members? The game treats it as arbitrarily high SR, and it does not get through on a 20.
(If you look at the 3.5 P&P rules you can see that caster level checks are not excluded, but rather attack rolls and saving throws are the only rolls that specify automatic success/failure on a 20/1)

in epic just wait at the brothers, the second one comes up.
Don't fuck around with lesser resto pots, go get potions of
Woodblossom Mead
and
Crimson Nightshade Infusions
from
Demodris
The quest is a cake walk, and the con damage doesn't matter.

That too, but in this instance, it's mostly because panacea removes all stat damage.

Been using greater resto scrolls. I dig the 2 potions though. Thanks for the tip. Only had him come up top once; ever. Depending on ED progression I can kill him fast enough; level 1 ED's are way more difficult. Early on I pop the my pussybear pack of hires and let them occupy the bottom, go beat down the top, go back down finish off the bottom.
